Furlough Implementation Details

Here is detailed information that was sent to UW–Madison employees on Monday, July 13 regarding how the mandated employee furloughs will affect various groups of university employees. If you have questions about what group you belong to, please consult with your unit's human resources administrator. If you have further questions about the furloughs or how they are applied in your specific situation, please email furlough@ohr.wisc.edu.

- Group 3: Non-Instructional Academic Staff, Limited Appointees and Employees-in Training in employment titles (Research Associate, Research Intern, Postgraduate Trainee, Intern (Non-Physician)
- Group 4: Non-Represented Exempt (salaried) Classified Staff
